Work is well underway at the Eggborough Power Station Coal Yard. Seven weeks remaining on programme for completion of the coal yard works, see nearly 2500 tonnes of scrap steel processed and removed off site to date with a further 1200 tonnes to be removed with a programme completion for November 29th, 2019. To date there has been 5714 man-hours worked.

The next phase of the works will continue thereafter on clearing the main site. This will include the processing and preparation of the cooling towers on site for ‘Blow Down’ in 2020, along with the removal of licenced asbestos materials.
